Lachmi Khemlani, Ph.D., specializes in software applications. She received her undergraduate degree from IIT Kharagpur, India, her M.Phil. from the University of Cambridge, UK, and her Ph.D. degree from the University of California at Berkeley, US. She runs AECbytes, a technology publication focused on software for the building and infrastructure industries. She has also been involved in running an eLearning company, in volunteering as an instructor for the Girls Who Code organization and the Microsoft TEALS technology educational initiative, and is an ongoing volunteer for the IRS VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) program in the US.
